Our Story
Built by Huseman began as Homemade by Huseman in 2020—a DIY blog sharing home projects, decor tips, and furniture builds. What started as a passion for creating transformed into something much bigger. As demand grew for custom renovations and home builds, owner Steven Huseman took the next step, earning his Certified Building Contractor (CBC) license and turning his passion into a full-scale construction business serving the Tampa Bay area.
Steven’s love for construction started long before the business. With a background in construction and drafting, he’s always had an eye for design—taking ideas from paper and bringing them to life. When he and his wife, Ali, bought their first home, they spent countless hours turning Pinterest dreams into reality. That hands-on experience and attention to detail are now what Built by Huseman brings to every client project.
